~Well Kage, where is it?~ Asked Lina from Kage.
~~I don't know.~~
~What? You lead me this far and you don't know it?~
~~Well. I don't know for sure, but you can sense it.~~
~Me?~
~~Yes.~~
~Here it goes ... ~ Wanted Lina to start, but then noticed something.
"Wherever you are, better show yourselves." Demanded the sorceress.
A figure stepped forward.
*sigh* "Grin, it's you. You're bothering me." Turned Lina and started to walk away.
"So, I am just bothering you? *snap* Get her." Ordered Grin to a small group of orcs.
"Orks? You could be more real. FIREBALL!!" Burned up Lina the orcs.
"Then." *snap*
"Trolls?" Looked Lina as three mountain troll marched on the field.
"You want more?" *snap*
"Two werewolves and a giant?" Readied Lina a fireball, wich appareantly scared the trolls, since they can't stand fire and one of the werewolves. The giant and the other werewolf andvanced towards Lina, who simply blasted them with the magnified firespell.
"You want some more?" Asked Lina from the frightened pack.
"Why you ... " Said Grin as the remaining monsters ran away. Then Grin whistled.
"And now?" Looked Lina bored.
"He's here ... " Grinned maniacaly the mage.
"Well let me see ... "Looked around Lina and saw a figure in the shadows.
The caracter was a beast-man, undoubtfully. Although the head was cowered with a mask, but the eyes and ears told Lina that a werecat is her enemy. The beast wore darkgreen combat armor and the hands were bandaged. At the back were a gigantic sword, on wiches hilt Lina could see fine incarved runes.
~Well, this isn't an ordinary beast-warrior.~ Thought Lina, but nothing more.
The beast drew his sword and got in a classic fighting stance and waited for Lina.
"Heh, a skilled beast-warrior won't be enough to defeat me." Stated Lina and chanted a Freeze Arrow. The beast seeing the effort of Lina, muttered something and the long blade held in his hands glow up in a blue color, got respectedly longer and slimmer.
~As I thought, an enchanted weapon. I need it.~ Smiled the sorceress and threw the freezing spell towards the beast. The warrior stood stiil and holded the blade in a stance that would collide with the spell and suddenly slashed towards it.
~Thought so.~ *smile* BREAK!!" Ordered Lina and the freezing spell turned into a thick fog of cold air.
The beast warrior got surprised and jumped backwards out of the cloud, but didn't saw the sorceress anywhere. As the cloud was blown away in the mild weather, he could see the sorceresses siluette hiding behind a tree. Quickly muttered some command words and the blade took it's original shape andcolor.
"Finish her." Ordered Grin.
The beast suddenly stopped and jumped into the air, nearly avoiding a Fireballs effect.
"Will you give up?" Walked Lina to the opening.
"Why should I?" Asked the beast.
"Because Something missed your attention." Explained the beast.
"And what?"
"Grin can't pay you that much to even bother to fight me."
"Stalker does it for free, because wanted the test his powers." Said Grin.
"Test his power? Against me? ... He gotta be kidding ..." Raised Lina her arms and and summoned a fire and a freezing spell.
Stalker seeing this switched the holding on his weapon and muttered again the command words, wich enchanted the blades shape and a blue glowing surrounded the weapon.
Lina threw the freezing spell, then broke it to a cloud and threw the readied Fireball into it. The result was that before the two spells collided a high-pressure shockwave spreaded outwrads. Lina defended herself with an Air Valm spell, but Grin and Stalker were thrustet backwards. Grin smashed againts a rock and Stalker mowed down some young trees and finally halted by impacting at a seemingly old Demon tree.
Like the name implyed the tree slowly lunged towards the unconcious beast-warrior, but Lina froze the tree, along with the warrior.
"So, Grin ... Ready to rumble?" Smiled Lina.
"Uhhh ... *Stood up the dazed mage* See ya!!" Turned around and bumped into a girl.
"Hiii." Smiled the sorceress.
"Wha --- huh?" As Grin noticed Lina and Lina, but on two completely different sides.
"Lina-chan, why do you give up with such losers?" Asked Yumiko and blew Grin away with a Diem wing.
"You?! What are you doing here?"Asked Lina from Yumiko.
"Challenging you?" Smiled the shadow and charged a Fireball.
"But if you kill me or vice versa we're both dead." Lina dissolved the firespell with a Mos Varim.
"Then a fair fight?" Appeared Xellos.
"What else could go wrong?" Sighed Lina and sat down.
"Why, Lina-chan. Aren't you happy to see us?" Asked Xellos.
"Well. if I'm happy to see my darkness possessed self and a mazoku who tries to awaken his lord in me, than I'm happy." Stated the depressed girl.
"Lina-chan, are you ready?" Asked Xellos.
"For that Spirit dial?" Asked the nervous sorceress.
"No, for he."
"Who?"
"Helix." Pointed Xellos at the humanoid mazoku.
"Helix?" Lina released a bored look towards the mazoku.
"Xellos. Now we're goning to settle this."
"Oh, hi Helix." Smiled the priest.
"Human, move out of my way."The humanoid mazoku stepped towards Lina and grabbed the cloak of her and threw her away. Lina summoned her wings and stopped her falling.
"Sorry to say that, but I can't do that." Flew Lina between Xellos and Helix.
"Lina-chan, you really want to protect me?"
"No, just Shabby-chan nerves me ... " Stated Lina and looked up to the humanoid mazoku.
"Oh ... *giggle* .. Helix, better you give up." Sat down Xellos at a rock.
"What could a human do to me?" Summoned the mazoku a whip.
"To inform you my dear Helix. This girl is Lina Inverse, and not a simple human."
"Soooo, the 'Lina Inverse' ehh? Girl show me, what can you do." Laughed the mazoku.
"And me?" Came Yumiko's voice from the back.
"Who was *Helix turned around* That? *He spotted Yumiko* Hmmm, interesting. A human that controls phaseshifting. You're not so weak than after all."
"Not quite."Stated Lina and walked to the side of her shadow.
"An Illusion spell? *Asked the mazoku and a spell damaged the left arm* A copy?" Helix' left arm slowly started to regenerate.
"Neither, I'm the original and she is my 'shadow'."Lina leaned down and grabbed a stick.
" ... 'Shadow'?" Sweatdropp appeared on Helix.
"But tell me, why do you protect this coward?"
"Your lord does."
"He ordered me to kill him." Stated Helix.
"Shabranigdo, the dark god." Exlained Yumiko.
" ... You can't fool me." The whip held in his arm was encased with flames.
~Oh, how do I hate this.~ Thought Lina and carved some runes into the ground. ~Kage?~
~~Yes?~~
~Can I summon 'her' and gain controll after it?~
~~No, once summonded 'she' will take over.~~
~Oh, than ...~ Lina completed the runes and started to summon a spell, but aborted as:
"Does this convince you?!" Held up one hand Yumiko and after a short chant the Ruby-eyed Blade appeared. Lina gaped and let the stick fall.
"That doesn't mean anything." Stated Helix and slashed with the flaming weapon towards Yumiko. Althought the whip hit her directly, nothing happened.
~Kage, don't tell me that this is real.~
~~Well, it looks so.~~
~But, it look weak, or not?~
~~Definiatelly.~~
A deep, dark voice echoed from Yumiko's body. The mazoku stopped at the voice.
"Do you dare to oppose me, slave?"
"Slave? Who do you think you are?" Stepped closer the mazoku, but Yumiko phaseshifted before the mazoku could attack her and appeared after the striek. Yumiko held the drak lords weapon before the mazoku, and then formed from it a red pulsating orb.
Lina nervously smiled and witnessed as the red orb hurled the mazoku far away.
"Uh ... I hate 'her' for that." Stated Yumiko after the possession ceased.
Lina sweat dropped. "I know what you're talking about."
"Huh?" Looked Yumiko towards Lina.
"I'm possessed by a dragon lord and 'her'."
"You're with 'her' also?"
"But, I'm not letting her to take over."
"Temper, temper girls."
"Xellos!!" Lina threw a Fireball at the smiling mazoku.
"OW!!" Xellos couldn't evade the firespell.
"Lina-chan, shouldn't we go?" Asked Yumiko.
"What? Why are you coming with me? ..."
"Because of 'her'?" Asked Yumiko.
"Fine. *sigh* But do no try anything that would kill us ... About 'her', is 'she' like going mad of the word destruction? ... Like monologues of Destruction this way.... and that way etc. yes?"
"No, more like tortoring and killing, but the monologue is correct."
" ... *sigh* Guess the drak lord isn't the perfect personalized negativ being afterall."
"What are you whispering, Lina-chan and Lina-chan?"
"Xellos, first of all. I'm called Yumiko and if you dare to Yumiko-chan me, than I'll kill you, no matter what is 'her' desire." Stated the angry 'shadow'.
"That is a secret." Lina vanished.
"Huh? When had she lear--- *Bang* --- ned that." Completed it Xellos from the ground.
"Illusion. *cheers* Now, I'm much more better."

*A while later, deep in the Valley of the Shadows*
"We are he." Stated Xellos.
"We are?" Asked Lina
"Yepp." Smiled the mazoku.
"And ... where is it?" Looked around Yumiko.
"The entrance is over there." Pointed Xellos at south-west.
The girls started to walk around and to search the environment.
"Xellos, do you know there is the 'EXACT' location of the entraaaaAAAA!!!!" The girls fell down in a hole.
"Exactly there. *Stepped closer the priest and peeked down* Are you girls allright?"
Something echoed upwards, but Xellos couldn't define what it was.
"Could you repeat thet, I couldn't he--- *A spell beamed through the hole* ---ar that. *Xellos coughed a few* They're allright." Xellos lost balance and fell into the hole.

*At the bottom of the hole*
The girls hovered a little higher than the ground. Lina looked at her shadow.
"Would you put that away?" Asked Lina from Yumiko, whose left hand were crimson taloned.
"Why?" Asked she.
The burning Xellos made the first stepp in the cave or to be exact, the first impact.
"It's enough for me to change, I don't wanna see 'you' change into something."
"Exactly." Groaned the crispy Xellos from the gound.
"Whut up, namagomi."
"That's Phyria's line, Lina-chan." Stated Xellos and sit up.
"But it serves you."
"Lina-chan, don't mock Xellos."
"Uh ... *sweat drop* .. I thought that the darkness consuming you would awaken the dark feelings in you and you're protecting that filthy old mazoku?" Grinned Lina.
"Oh Lina-chan. It awoke the darkness in her , but like Kage my lord is also drained with every unce power use." Explained Xellos.
"And that's why you seek the dial, to grant infinite norousment, eh?" Asked Lina.
"Now quite, but you ge the point. Lina-chan." Smiled Yumiko.
"You see* Xellos tried to pat on Lina's shoulder* Wha-!? *As the image faded* This is bad .." Sweatdropped the mazoku.
"Boo." Lina spooked Xellos quite a bit.
*heart beat* "Was this nessecery?" *heartbeat*
"So, you would instead try one of these?" Lina held up a fire and a freezing spell.
"Well *nervous laughter* I would more likely stick with the frightening." Said Xellos.
"Allriht *smile* chicken *sigh* So, where is it?" Asked Lina.
"Dunno."
"Dunno? You lead us here and you just say: 'Dunno'?" Yumiko was a bit angered by this.
"Yeah!!"
"Go and beat someone else!!" Yelled Lina,and sit down.
"Lina-chan, what are you do-- *Xellos flew across the cavern* ---ing." He hit the wall.
"I said, leave me alone. I need to think."
~Kage, we need to ... think.  For something is really bothering me.~
~~I'm here, what is it?~~
~How many pieces ar known of Shabranigdo?~
~~Seven, why?~~
~Then how can Yumiko possess one of it? ... That would make 'Eight' and not seven.~
~~No, there are only seven pieces--- ~~
~And 'she'?~ Nodded Lina towards the 'shadow', who tried to carve Xellos from the wall.
~~What's with her?~~
~How does she obtained a piece?~
~~She haven't.~~
~I saw her 'transform' and she wielded the Ruby eyed blade, wich only Shabranigdo and Shadow yould use this ar, as I judged it.~
~~Remember, that the piece is sealed in you. But she is 'your' shadow. that means she has access to the powers of the piece.~~
~So we practically 'share' a part together?~
~~Perhaps, the Shadow Reflectors fault was also that if either of you die, the other dies aswell ... but I yould guess the soul link is the cause of it.~~
~You're confusing me ... Does Xellos know about this?~
~~Probably no.~~
~Well then Rezo's piece is reborn and we have my piece did I left something out?~

A hand landed on her shoulder.
"What's the matter ... *crash* ... Lina-chan." Echoed Xellos from the nearest wall.
"I hate being disturbed while I'm thinking."
"Lina-chan, you were off for ten minutes, are you allright?" Asked Yumiko.
"Yeah, just consulted with Kage."
"Kage" ... who?"
"Nothing important."
"Well, let's get going, that away." Stated Lina.
"Are you certain Lina-chan?" Asked Xellos.
"No, just womans instinct." Statted Lina and started to walk in a random direction.

*At the entrance of the Spirit dial*
"Who would have imagined, we're really here." Muttered Xellos.
"Tell me." Said Lina.
"What Lina-chan?" Asked Yumiko.
"Xellos." Lina gave a furious look towards the priest.
"Yeees?" Backed off Xellos.
"First of all, Tell me, how do we get in and second, what difficultis is there."
"I don't know, really ... if I would know it, we the mazoku race would have gathered the dials ... Of course, we have the Earth dial ... but that is a rare coincedence."
"So you suppose that you don't know how to get in, eh?" Lina looked upon the barrier.
"Here I go." Jumped Lina at the barrier and went through.
"Ehh?" Went Xellos closer, and poked at the forcefield.
"IIIIEEEEE!!!" Screamed Yumiko as the barrier hurled back the priest and Xellos hit her.
"Sorry Yumiko, I didn't mean to land on you." Said the priest. and quickly moved away.
"What happened, why could Lina go in, but you not?" Asked Yumiko and also layed a hand on thwe barrier. She was also hurled backand land on the same spot as previously.
"Why not?"
"I would say, that no 'pure' human, mazoku nor dragon can enter. But Lina is appearently neither, since she absorbed a mazoku and a shinzoku. "Explained Xellos and puled a black flag out freom the astral plane.
"What will that be?" Asked Yumiko seeing as Xellos drawed something with a crimson pen on the black flag, and then shoved it, erased something and again painted.
"Something That I like so much." Smiled the mazoku.
Lina emerged from the gateway and fall to the ground.
"Uhh ... *She barely could move* Don't let me do anything reckless like that again."
"Three cheers and a hipp-hipp-hurray for Lina-chan." Xellos hopped up and down with the freviously made flag, that simbolized the pentagramm of the mazoku origin.
"Oh, Shut up Xellos." Lina barely managed to sit up.
"Lina-chan what happened?" Asked Yumiko.
"This field suck my lifeforce out, I could barely make it out." Lina used her last power reserves to stand up, but it didn't work.
"Lina-chan, here let me help you." Xellos tried to grab the Spirit dial but a crimson bolt hurled him away. "Ow!!" The priest fell to the ground.
"I'll take it." Stated Yumiko and grabbed the item from Lina's hands.
"Yumiko, why?" ~Like I didn't know the answeer myself ...~ Thought Lina.
"Oh, I'm not Yumiko. She used to call me 'her'." Smiled the shadow and as she grabbed the dial the eyeholes started to blacken and the hair color changed to bloodred. The arm holding the dial erected scales and crimson talons.
"It burns, but life is pain." The scales now completely covered the girls arm. So long." Phaseshifted she away. "I would loooove to kill you, but yopu know." Echoed her voice.
"Damn *muttered Lina* If I would have enoug power ... *And idea appeared in her mind* Xellos .... oh, Xellos!!" Shouted the worn out sorceress.
From far away. "Yes Lina-chan?"
"I need to feed on you." Stated the girl.
" ... Feed ... you don't mean to ... " Sweatdropped Xellos.
"You would let you lord die with me?" ~Actually 'she' will be reborn but I'm not ...~
"No .... Allright *sigh* ~I regret myself for being her companion.~ I'm coming." Stated the priest. ~She really enjoys it ... her dark side is gaining power.~ Smiled the priest, but soon the smile dissolved as Lina started to gain strenght, on the cost of Xellos.
 "Lina-chan, would you like to kill me?" Grinned Xellos.
"Your lord said it ^Life is pain.^, right?" Smiled Lina and readied another glowing orb.
"Yeah *sigh* Bring it on." Was Xellos' last understandable sentence, for that day.

"Sz�val, �n csak ideges�telek? *csettint*  Kapj�tok el."Utas�t Grin egy csapatnyi orkot.
"Orkok? Komolyodj meg. FIREBALL!!" �gette fel �ket Lina.
"Akkor." *csettint*
"TRollok?" N�z Lina mint h�rom hegyi troll s�t�l be a ter�letre.
"T�bb kell?" *csettint*
"K�t v�rfarkas �s egy �ri�s?" K�sz�t Lina el� egy FIREBALL, ami l�tsz�lag megr�m�sztette a trollokat, mert azok nem nagyon szeretik a t�zet �s az az eggyik v�rfarkast. Az �ri�s �s a m�sik farkas Lassan k�zeledett Linafel�, aki egyszer�en megs�t�tte �ket a megn�velt t�zvar�zslattal.
"Kell m�g t�bb is?" K�rdezi Lina a megr�m�lt marad�kt�l.
"� te kis ... "Mondja Grin amint a marad�k elpucolt. Grin erre f�ty�lt eggyet.
"�s most?" N�z sz�t Lina unottan.
"Itt is van ... " Vigyorog �r�lten a m�gus.
"Nos, akkor n�zz�k csak ... "Lina megl�tott egy alakot az �rny�kokb�l el�l�pni.
Az alak egy bestia volt k�ts�gk�v�l. B�r a fej�t maszk v�dte, a szem�r�l �s a f�l�b�l Lina arra k�vetkeztetett, hogy az ellenfele egy v�rmacska. A bestia s�t�t z�ld harci p�nc�lt viselt �s a kezei f�slizva voltak. A h�t�n �s hatalmas kard volt, aminek a markolat�n Lina finoman v�sett r�n�kat v�lt felfedezni.
~Ez sem egy �tlagos bestia-harcos.~ Gondolja Lina, de semmi t�bbet.
A bestia kihuzta a kardj�t �s felvett egy klasszikus harci be�ll�st, majd v�rt Linara.
"Heh, egy k�pzett bestia-harcos nem el�g, hogy legy�zz�n." Jelenti ki Lina �s megid�zett egy Freeze Arrowot. A bestia l�tva ezt, elmormogott valamit �s a hossz� peng�je k�ken felvillant, majd jelent�sen hosszabb �s keskenyebb lett.
~Ahogy gondoltam, egy �tkozott (enchanted) fegyver. Sz�ks�gem van r�.~ Mosolyog a var�zsl�n�, majd a fagy var�zslatot a bestia fel� dobta. A harcos nyugodtan �llt �s a peng�t ugy tartotta, hogy �tk�z�si p�ly�n �lljon a var�zslattal, majd hirtelen fel� csapott.
~Gondoltam.~ *mosoly* "T�R�S!!" Adta ki Lina a parancsot �s a fagy var�zslat egy s�r�, de hideg k�dfelh�v� alakult �t.
A bestia meglep�d�tt �s kiugrott a k�dfelh�b�l, de neml�tta a var�zsl�n�t semerre sem. Amint a k�d�t elfujta a l�gy szell� megl�tta a var�zsl�n� alakj�t egy fa m�g�tt. Gyorsan elmondott p�r parancssz�t �s a penge felvette az eredeti alakj�t �s szin�t.
"V�gezd ki." Parancsolja Grin.
A bestia hirtelen meg�llt, majd felugrott a leveg�be, �ppenhogy elker�lve egy Fireball hat�s�t.
"Feladod?" S�t�l be Lina az utra.
"Mi�rt k�ne?" K�rdezi a bestia.
"Az�rt mert valami elker�lte a figyelmedet." Magyar�zza a var�zsl�n�.
"�s mi?"
"Grin nem tud neked annyit fizetni, hogy meg�rje neked velem k�zdeni."
"Stalker ingyen csin�lja, mert az erej�t akarja felm�rni." Mondja Grin.
"Felm�rni az erej�t? Ellenem? ... J� vicc ... "Emeli fel Lina a kezeit, majd megid�z egy v�z �s egy t�z var�zslatot.
Stalker l�tva ezt, fog�st v�ltott a fegyver�n �s megint elism�telte a szavakat, amik feler�s�tett�k a penge alakj�t �s k�kes f�nyt vontak k�r�.
Lina eldobta a fagy var�zslatot, majd felh�v� bontotta le �s beledobta az el�k�sz�tett Fireballt. Az eredm�nye a k�t �ssze�tk�z� var�zslatnak egy magas-l�gnyom�s� l�k�shul��m volt ami kifel� terjedt. Lina egy Air Valm [Vill�m Burok] var�zslattal v�dte mag�t, de Grint �s Stalkert h�tra vetette. Grin k�veknek csap�dott �s Stalker nekicsap�dott p�r fiatal f�nak �s v�g�l meg�llt azzal, hogy egy D�mon F�nak �tk�z�tt.
Mint a neve is utal r� a fa lassan az �jult bestia-harcos fel� ny�lt, de Lina lefagyasztotta a f�t �s vele eggy�tt a harcost.
~Fen�be is ... Pedig kellett az a k�l�n�s fegyver ... de ahogy kin�z ... SOKKAL nehezebb mint amit egy �tlagos ember eltudna hordani ... ~ *s�haj*
"Sz�val, Grin ... K�szen �llsz egy kis mulats�gra?" Mosolyog Lina.
"Uhhh ... *�llt fel a k�bult m�gus* Viszl�t!!" Fordul meg �s �tk�zik egy l�nynak.
"Heeeeello." Mosolyog r� a m�sik l�ny, aki egy var�zsl�n�.
"Mi --- Huh?" Amint Grin �szrevette Linat �s Linat, de k�t ellent�tes oldal�n.
"Lina-chan, mi�rt l�gsz ilyen vesztesekkel?" K�rdezi Yumiko �s elfujta Grint egy Diem Winggel.[Sz�l Katapult]
"TE?! Te meg mit keresel itt?" K�rdi Lina Yumikotol.
"Kihivlak t�ged?" Mosolyog az �rny�k el�k�sz�t egy Fireballt.
"De ha meg�lsz, ittletve ford�tva akkor mindketten meghalunk." Oltotta ki Lina a t�zvar�zslatot egy Mos Varim seg�ts�g�vel. [Kb egy t�zgoly�t ki tud oltani]
"Akkor egy egyenl� k�zdelem?" Jelenik meg Xellos.
"Mi m�s s�lhet m�g ki balul." S�hajtott Lina �s le�lt.
"Mi�rt Lina-chan, nem �r�lsz annak, hogy l�tsz minket?" K�rdezi Xellos.
"Nos. Ha �r�lhetek annak, hogy l�tom a s�t�ts�ggel megsz�llott magamat �s egy mazokut aki megpr�b�lja felt�masztani az ur�t bennem, akkor az vagyok." Jelenti ki a l�ny.
"Lina-chan, k�szen �llsz?" K�rdezi Xellos.
"A L�lek dial miatt?" N�z fel az ideges var�zsl�n�.
"Nem, miatta."
"Ki miatt?"
"Helix." Mutat Xellos az emberszer� mazokura.
"Helix?" Lina elengedett egy unott pillant�st a mazoku fel�.
"Xellos. Most lerendezz�k ezt."
"Oh, szia Helix." Mosolyog a pap.
